Twenty-second

Okay, so I may not be the best at cooking and I may not be the most active person on the planet but when the delivery guy from your favorite take-out restaurant says 'see you' and you respond in likeness one may come to realize that ordering out three-four times a week is not the healthiest life style. For you or your wallet. But living here in Lithuania comes with a big perk. Things are cheap, and comparing it to the loans and grants from the government in Sweden it's close to nothing. Well, if you only order out and not go and but whatever catches your eye. It's a close update but still better than nothing, I just had the sudden urge to post something and thought that food was a good subject as I just ordered food. The restaurant in question is called Gan Bei City and as you can tell from the name it's an asian place.

Hope you will enjoy your food as much as I will enjoy mine.

Twentyfirst

You know that you have reached the top of the lazy chain when you sit on your bed, realize that your need to charge you phone but your charger isn't plugged in and the plug at the end of the bed and not near you (top of the bed). This means that you have to move to the other side of the bed and plug it in, but instead of moving like a fucking normal person to save time and energy you start to stretch, knowing that your efforts are futile, all this while complaining to your roommate that you are too far away from the plug. Laughing she stands up from across the room in her own bed and actually helps you put the plug in....-.-  Yes, this is how you know that you have reached the top of the lazy chain people.
Other news? Nothing much other than the fact that I think that I have found my calling when it comes to anatomy, namely the skull. While most people here finds it difficult to actually remember the different parts of the skull I find it relatively easy to do so. Some has the lower limbs or maybe even the vertebra or upper limbs... the skull is my domain. I can honestly say that i have barley studied and been there in my mind when it comes to the labs and lectures but I can still proudly say that I can answer all the questions the doctors/lecturers throw at me. yay.
Looking for apartments for four people is hard. Even though some really nice ones could be found they are not available until next fall semester so instead we have decided to find a place with a bunch of free apartments (which surprisingly isn't that hard) the only hard part is to keep everyone happy about the price and location, I couldn't care less but apparently that's a huge deal for some. But whatever right?

Have a nice night

Twentieth

I may not be the best blogger out there as I have not updated in a long, long, long while but since I don't care it's okay. Life so far has been hectic and fun. There has been a birthday after another, I managed to squeeze in a trip to Sweden, all-nighters all over the place, section exams as well as final exams.
Where to start.... Okay so first I had two colloquium's in Parasitology & Cytology but maybe I have already written about that. I also did the final exam which would have fucked up my life if it wasn't for the cytology part. I am lucky as my IBbio did include most of what we did so I could focus on the parasites but this only made me feel like Bad Luck Brian as the parasitology question that came up was on the parts that I really had problems with. So that was fun!
The day after the exam helped alot, I went back to Sweden. To do what exactly you ask? Because I felt like it? I missed my family, friends? Well, they are factors in the whole decision aswell but the main reason was for the Swedish House Mafia concert that I was lucky enough to get tickets to. This is their farewell tour as they as breaking up. I would be lying if I said that I have always been a BIG fan of them, but they are definitively my favorite house music source. There is something about their songs which makes it so easy to lose yourself to the music and just dance. I know cliche and shit but that's how I see their music, or feel. I got to see my family again for a slightly longer period of time and My God I have missed my younger brother Artin so fucking much. Sometimes I cannot think about him as I just get sad and close to tears, sometimes he wont even talk to me on skype or by phone calls as he starts to cry which makes me cry which makes my family laugh. yepp, they are horrible... No I'm kidding.
This time I traveled back by RyanAir from Skavsta-Riga, and took a bus from Riga to Kaunas by Kautra that took about 4-5 hours. Comfortable seats, Wi-Fi and best of all.... cheap, 15 Euros only. Well cheap as in its a long drive and shit, PEOPLE COME ON!
We started Anatomy which is the single most difficult thing that we will have to do in year 1 of med-school. All nighters? Check. Depression and anxiety? Check. Empty wallet (not really) from ordering in all the time so that we don't have to cook? Check. I'm so glad that I live here just because the food is cheap. You get 8 pc's sushi and fried rice with shrimps and veggies for 25 LTL which is approx. 80 kr. Delicious.
The last Saturday was the birthdays of three people... or their b-day party anyways. Hani turned 22 on the 26th, Jen's b-day was on the 29th and Valda had hers on the 1st (Saturday) which meant PARTY. We rented a limo bus, yes a Limo Bus and had fun for two and a half hours, afterwards clubbing was the plan, FUN is all I am going to say. For those of you who know me you know that I am not a party person but this was such a good night that I have to list it in my top 3 nights. It ended with us going to the 24h Mcdonalds and me, Suzie, Valda and Jennifer ended up falling asleep in Suzies bed after eating, we slept til two thirty in the afternoon. This night we really got to know each other better as we all are going through similar things but yet so different. The point is that we know where we all stand and I am so happy for that. This reminds me of my own people back in Sweden and the process of becoming friends.
